Show villa of ‘Raffles Park’ in Bangalore unveiled

Raffles Residency Pvt. Ltd. recently unveiled the show villa of ‘Raffles Park’its first residential project development in the country. Raffles Park is located on Soukya Road in Whitefield, Bangalore. Promoted by the Jumabhoys, one of Singapore’s premier business families, ‘Raffles Park’ is the essence of two garden cities coming together, blending Singapore’s contemporary tropical design with Bangalore’s love for green spaces.

With global standards in project execution and a contemporary innovative spirit, the company that launched the project two years ago is on schedule with a stunning show Villa that promises to rivet with its attention to detail and high-quality delivery. The 61 five-bedroom villa development spread across 15 acres targets the premium living space segment and connect with key elements of nature. Raffles Park will encapsulate the sense of ‘Homes within a Garden’, with a density of just four villas per acre and 81% of open areas.

Speaking at the show Villa unveiling, Iqbal Jumabhoy, Joint Promoter – Raffles Residency Pvt. Ltd. said, “What we are particularly proud of with Raffles Park is the value that it will bring each of its home owners. Our legacy dates back a 100 years and as I’ve said before, this is a moment of complete gratification for us, as we bring this legacy back home with our new project. The real estate sector in India has come a long way by becoming one of the fastest growing markets in the world, successfully attracting not just domestic real estate developers, but foreign developers and investors as well.”

Further commenting on the real estate trends in the country, Jumabhoy said, “It is estimated that the size of the real estate sector may increase five-fold to reach $676 billion by 2025 and $853 billion by 2028. This phenomenal growth will provide the much-needed thrust to the entire industry as significant technical and financial support lacks in India. The real estate sector in India opened its doors to foreign investors in 2005 and has witnessed an inflow of $10.5 billion since then. For us, through Raffles Park, this has been validated by the fact that we have sold more than 60% of our inventory, with interest continuing to be on the upswing.”

Raffles Residency finds its roots in the pioneering spirit that began with the development and management of Ascott International, founded by the Jumabhoy family in Singapore. Starting with small housing projects in suburban Singapore and progressing to iconic developments, the Group’s foresight and feel for the consumer helped shape the service apartment industry worldwide. The Ascott Executive Residences, which the Jumabhoys started and owned from 1984 to 1998, set the international benchmark in the hospitality space, blending a unique level of lifestyle, living and service. During their involvement with Ascott, it became an international brand, spreading to several countries.

The continued passion for delivering quality homes to sophisticated consumers continues even today. “We are creating a superior experience for a discerning clientele; people that are well travelled, world aware, environmentally responsible and with total clarity on what constitutes good living. What has been fascinating about our journey till here is that this number in India is growing nearly by the minute. We believe that people understand true value and Raffles Park is a tribute to an approach that places quality above all else – from the professional management of the project operations to the reputed people bringing cutting edge passion, it really is our tribute to a beautiful city”, added Jumabhoy.

Naseem Jumabhoy, Joint Promoter – Raffles Residency Pvt. Ltd. said“Furniture handpicked from across the globe and beautifully designed interiors provide a canvas of ideas that home owners can draw inspiration from, For our Customers it’s their world made from the world”

With premium specifications such as air-conditioned spaces, personal elevators, bathroom fixtures from Italy & Switzerland, courtyards, skylights, water bodies and gardens within a villa, ‘Raffles Park’ is the result of ingenious design collaboration between India’s renowned architecture firm Karan Grover and Associates, and Singapore-based Warner Wong Design and WOW Architects.

Wong Chiu Man, Founder of Warner Wong Design and WOW Architects explained, “The design of ‘Raffles Park’ was born from a very clear brief. A coming together of the roots of Singapore and Bangalore, two of the most famous garden cities in the world.  The aspects of luxury, quality and unparalleled attention to detail is there for the seeing, what is important is that while Singapore provided modern inspiration, India provided traditional intent in abundance. The show villa is what you see, but if you took the time to delve into it, there are a hundred stories behind each item in the beautiful living spaces on display.”

“Raffles Park, an IGBC Gold rated project, is not just about a green villa, but an entire green development,” said Karan Grover, Founder of Karan Grover and Associates. “To a discerning mind, there is a wholesomeness in approach. Beauty and aesthetics must seamlessly integrate with functionality and ease of use. Above all though, there is a conscious emphasis on environmental impact. For me, the key was that every aspect of the development be carefully planned so that the home owner harmonizes with nature without being overwhelmed with the sheer size of the total development”, he added.
