Angry Paramount Golf Foreste Villa owners protest against delays in possession
Over 60 Villa owners of Paramount Golf Foreste Villas (Paramount Group) came together to protest against the builder at the site in Sector Zeta, Greater Noida on Sunday February 22, 2015.
Our owners carried placards and shouted slogans against the builder. Their allegation is long delay in possession and unnecessary charges imposed on the owners, which are not mentioned in the Builder Buyer Agreement (For example: mandatory electricity load 4KVA – Rs.60,000/ very high maintenance charges/club charges). All the owners claimed that the Villas are nowhere near completion, despite written commitments from the builder.
As per our agreement letters the handover of Villas was to begin in Jan/Feb 2014.
The owners claimed that despite many rounds of talks Paramount Group has not lived upto their promises to hand over the Villas to the buyers. Also, the Builder is refusing to pay penalty to the buyers, as they have failed to deliver the Villas on time.
No Management people were there to talk to the media and Villa owners. Angry protesters demanded Management people like Ashwani Prakash, executive director and Mukesh Agarwal, Managing Director of Paramount Group to come out and hear Owners demands. Till 3pm no one came to the site and not even picked up calls.
